Marianne graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 1996 and has spent the last 27 years working in small animal practice in Northampton. She is passionate about creating a calm, stress-free veterinary experience for pets and their owners, believing that gentle handling, patience, and building trust help every pet feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for.
I qualified from the University of Bologna (Italy) in 2008 with honours. After which I moved to the UK in 2013 and have worked in small animal practices ever since. I enjoy internal medicine but my main passion is acupuncture treatments for small animals and chronic pain management. I have 2 young boys and a black Labrador and enjoy cooking Italian food long walks with my dog.
I graduated in 2011 and moved to the UK and have worked in large hospitals and smaller practices.My main interests are internal medicine, cardiology, and dentistry. I find supporting senior animals very important in order to give them a good quality of life. I have two rescue dogs that are 13 and 3 years of age. In my spare time I love spending time with my family, friends, dogs. As well as going to concerts, the cinema and theatre. Travelling is a source of soul enrichment and it makes me happy.Â
Having qualified in 1999, I have worked soley in small animal clinics. I am keen on consulting and dentisrty and am a very chatty person! Outside of work I love to walk with my crazy cocker spaniel and love cooking.Â
Qualified in 2001 from Edinburgh University, I started working in the practice local to my home in Leeds, and then moved south to Bedford. I have worked with all sorts of animals over the years and now enjoy working part time in a small animal practice and hold a post graduate certificate in Small Animal Medicine. I feel that seeing animals in their own homes can make the whole experience calmer and less stressful. I like to have time to get to know the pets and their owners, and at home there is more time to ensure all the options are explored.Â
I have been working as a Small Animal Vet since graduating in 1997. I believe strongly in the concept of stress free vet care and so set up Vets 2 Your Pets to offer  routine vet care at home in the pet’s normal environment where they are more comfortable. Home visits allow me to take my time and work slowly with my patients so they feel relaxed and confident.  My passion is small animal surgery and particularly orthopaedic surgery allowing arthritis management.
