Revolutionary new treatments for Osteoarthritis and Allergic Skin Disease are now available for administration by our vets at home. Librela, Solensia and Cytopoint are all treatments falling into a group of drugs called monoclonal antibodies. These treatments are antibodies that attach to specific receptors blocking pain or allergy transmitters and so giving effective relief from these debilitating diseases. These medications are comprised of proteins that are very natural to the body and so show very little or no side effects. This also allows them to be used alongside other medications with little interaction. 

As these medications get naturally broken down over time they need to be toped up at regular intervals.  Solensia and Librela need to be administered every 4 weeks, while Cytopoint is repeated at 4-8 week intervals. Treatment is a single injection under the skin of the appropriate dose for your pet’s size.
