I qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in London in 1990 and have been working in small animal first opinion practice for the last 22 years in Aylesbury Buckinghamshire. My special interests are cardiology, ophthalmology, acupuncture, laser therapy pain relief and healing and animal welfare and conservation. In my spare time I love walking in the hills and mountains with my rescue dog and husband.
I have been working as a Small Animal Vet since graduating in 1997. I believe strongly in the concept of stress free vet care and so set up Vets 2 Your Pets to offer  routine vet care at home in the pet’s normal environment where they are more comfortable. Home visits allow me to take my time and work slowly with my patients so they feel relaxed and confident.  My passion is small animal surgery and particularly orthopaedic surgery allowing arthritis management.
When the difficult time comes to say goodbye and put your beloved friend to sleep, we can help with a quiet, anxiety-free, no travel euthanasia at home. We can guide you with the decision process and help put your beloved pet to sleep peacefully. Stay with your pet in their final moments, and have time to say goodbye.Â

We are committed to treating every pet with compassion, dignity, and respect throughout the entire process. Our team is always available to answer questions about home euthanasia and explain what to expect. Whether you are seeking information about a dog being put to sleep, a peaceful end-of-life experience for your cat, or support with a rabbit, our experienced Buckinghamshire team will be there to assist you with kindness and understanding.
When you book a home euthanasia visit, the process begins with a discussion about your pet’s health, comfort, and current condition. Every call is handled by qualified veterinary nurses who are available to listen, support, and offer practical guidance. We carefully explain the procedure so that you feel informed and comfortable before the appointment takes place. Our mobile service helps dogs, cats, and other pets remain in the familiarity of home during their final moments.
During your appointment:
You are welcome to stay close to your pet throughout the process, offering comfort, affection, and reassurance. After your pet has peacefully passed away, we provide time and space for a private goodbye. We can also help arrange cremation or discuss suitable aftercare options, depending on your wishes.
Should you require further advice following euthanasia, we can discuss memorial options such as keeping your pet’s ashes, creating paw print keepsakes, or receiving a sympathy card. Every aspect of aftercare is managed with sensitivity, compassion, and respect.
