Give Your Litter The Best Start.

Having your litter of new puppies and kittens examined and vaccinated at home with mum, has the benefit of not risking exposing vulnerable kittens and puppies to disease challenges before they are vaccinated.

Our vet will health check all the litter mates and ensure they are fit and well. We can then administer their first vaccine and microchip them, ready for re-homing. We will also issue you with a health certificate to pass to the new owners when they take home their new family member.

We vaccinate all new puppies with Nobivac DHP + Lepto 4,  and kittens with Nobivac Tricat + Felv.  These are widely trusted brands by vets, allowing for easy follow on second vaccination by the new owners. If you require a alternative vaccine brand, please let us know.

Kittens receive their first vaccine at 8-9 weeks and Puppies first vaccine is from 6 weeks of ag

Breeder Services: Vaccination, Health Checks & Microchipping – All at Your Doorstep

At Vets2YourPets, we understand how important it is to give your litters the very best start in life, and that starts with high-quality veterinary care delivered right to your door.
Whether you’re a seasoned breeder or just starting out, our mobile vet service is designed to make early-life veterinary care for your litters of puppies and kittens simple, stress-free, and fully compliant with UK regulations.

First Health Checks

We offer full litter health checks to ensure each puppy or kitten is thriving and free from any early signs of illness or developmental issues. Our vets will assess heart, lungs, eyes, ears, skin, and body condition, giving you peace of mind as well as a Health Certificate for each animal to pass on to the new owner.

Primary Vaccinations

Protect your litters against preventable diseases with our tailored vaccination plans. We follow current veterinary guidelines and can advise you on the best timing and combinations for each breed. One of the key components of this first visit is the administration of the initial vaccine. This is typically given from 6 to 8 weeks of age and is the first step in building their immunity against common and potentially life-threatening diseases such as parvovirus, distemper or feline flu & enteritis. We work closely with our breeder clients to ensure vaccinations are carried out in a timeline that works for rehoming of the litters of kittens and puppies to their forever homes. We also provide vaccination cards and documentation to pass on to the new owners.

Microchipping (Legal Requirement)

In accordance with UK law, all puppies must be microchipped before leaving the breeder, and from June 2024, this now applies to kittens too. We offer safe, professional microchipping for the entire litter in one convenient visit, with details registered directly to yourself, the breeder (ready to be transferred to the new owner). We use microchip brands that are free to register litters as well as free to transfer details to new owners.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Vaccinations protect your pet from various infectious diseases that can be severe or even fatal. They also prevent the spread of these diseases to other animals and humans.
Puppies and kittens usually receive their first vaccinations at 6 to 10 weeks of age, followed by a second dose 3 to 4 weeks later. A booster vaccination is recommended at 12 months, with annual vaccinations thereafter.
While not always mandatory, the kennel cough vaccine is recommended, especially if your dog frequents places with other dogs, such as boarding kennels or dog parks.
Delaying or skipping vaccinations can leave your pet vulnerable to nasty diseases. It’s essential to adhere to the recommended schedule to ensure your pet remains fully protected. The opportunity to carry out a full health examination and assessment prior to every annual vaccination is important.
You can schedule a vaccination appointment by contacting your veterinary practice directly. They will guide you through the process and ensure your pet receives the necessary care.
Dog vaccinations work by stimulating your dog’s immune system to produce a defence against specific infectious diseases. This helps your pet build immunity without having to experience the illness, keeping your dog safe from potentially life-threatening conditions.
Unvaccinated dogs and cats are highly susceptible to various infectious diseases, such as parvovirus and distemper. These illnesses can spread quickly, especially in public places or around other pets. Keeping up with pet vaccinations is the best way to ensure your dogs and cats stay safe and healthy.
